The traditional village of Wae rebo in the district of Manggarai on the island of Flores, East Nusa Tenggara, has received the Top Award of Excellence from UNESCO in the 2012 UNESCO Asia Pacific Heritage Awards, announced in Bangkok on 27 August 2012. Wae rebo is a small, very out of the way village. Situated on around 1,100 meters above sea level and approximately 3 – 4-hour travel by foot from Denge Village. Wae rebo is completely surrounded by panoramic mountains and the dense Todo forest. This tropical forest is rich in vegetation, where you will find orchids, different types of ferns and hear the chirping of many songbirds.

Day 1
On the first day of this Wae rebo Tour, our team will pick you from your hotel or airport in Labuan bajo and drive to exotic Wae rebo traditional village. On the way there, you will stop over Melo village to see the panorama of Labuan Bajo from the distance. From Melo village, next stop is Lembor village, here you will see the biggest landscape of paddy rice field in Flores Island and you can take some pictures or video as your memory leaving. From here, the tour will continue to South west Lembor via Nangalili before arrive in Denge Village. Denge Village is a gate for tracking to Wae rebo Village. To reach this village, usually need around two hours soft tracking, because you will hike in slope of mountains before arrive. Upon arrival in Wae rebo, you will get warm welcome from locals. And then stay overnight in local guest house.

Day 2
On the second day of Wae rebo Tour, you will breakfast with local, and after that Enjoy the village and interreacting with local community and learn about their way of life and their unique culture before leaving the village.
